For fifty years, 82-year-old retired doctor Tadeusz had driven daily through that same intersection without a single accident. But one day, he is involved in a tragic crash that claims the life of a promising 24-year-old medical student — a devoted husband and soon-to-be father. Experts assess that Tadeusz is not responsible, but this does not silence the heavy burden he feels. The tragedy begins to overwhelm both Tadeusz and his loved ones, while unresolved issues from the past start to surface. As guilt, grief, and public scrutiny mount, they prompt Tadeusz to make a series of unexpected decisions, some of which will directly affect his family.
