The R Gallery at Arlene’s is proud to present The Creative February 2025 Show, a juried group exhibition celebrating the vibrant legacy of Creative February. Featuring award-winning artist Takeyce Walter alongside selected artists from the 2025 Creative February challenge, this exhibition highlights the transformative power of daily artistic practice. What began in 2014 as a personal commitment by Walter—to create one painting every day throughout the month of February—has grown into a dynamic and inspiring movement that encourages artists across the nation to engage in daily creation, share their work, and connect with a broader creative community. Each year, artists rise to the challenge, pushing the boundaries of their practice and cultivating discipline, joy, and discovery through art.
Curated and juried by Takeyce Walter, this exhibition is both a celebration and culmination of that dedication, showcasing an impressive range of mediums, styles, and interpretations. Other featured artists include Sarah Blakeman, Claudia Dean, Maria DeAngelo, Gabriella Gabriel Dillmann, Kate Edwards, Ashlee Guiles, Ottavia Huang (Artist in Residence), Roya Jenner, Kathy Klompas, Nancy Lyons, Sherri L.
