Kimberly, also known as LadyJoy, is a force of positivity and empowerment in both her local community of Pflugerville, Texas, and on a global scale.
With a background in social psychology, she's not only a radio personality and motivational speaker but also a published author and restorative justice practitioner.
Her ability to foster genuine connections through authentic collaboration is her superpower, enabling her to create impactful networks dedicated to mental wellness and personal growth. At the heart of Kimberly's mission is spreading joy.
Her infectious smile and the mantra #GotJoy serve as symbols of hope and resilience, reminding others that regardless of life's challenges, joy is within reach.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Kimberly proudly calls Pflugerville home, where she holds the distinction of being the first black woman to serve on the Pflugerville City Council, representing Place 3.
In addition to her role on the City Council, Kimberly is deeply committed to advocating for equity and mental health support for individuals with lived experience.
She serves as a crisis outreach coordinator, volunteers with the Pflugerville Police Department Victim Services, and serves on the board of Directors of The Austin Child Guidance Center.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Kimberly is the owner of The Pfaith House, a sanctuary providing transitional housing and comprehensive support services to women and children escaping domestic violence. Throughout her various platforms, Kimberly exemplifies the power of authenticity.
Whether she's speaking, writing, or advocating, she does so with unwavering transparency and a genuine desire to uplift others.
