The Cost of Courage is a First Responder event and is meant for Law Enforcement, Correctional Officers, Fire and EMS personnel along with 911 Operators. First Responders deal with horrific trauma each and every day of their careers and sometimes the emotional toll that it plays on them is life changing. From sleepless nights, mood swings, to substance use and even to suicide. This night is to let all first responders know that it is okay. You're not the only one that is going through it, and you can reach out for help. Hear from First Responder Peer Supporters and trauma councilors who will help guide you to resources, hope and understanding. This event is to help our First Responders acknowledge that trauma effects the mind and body and how to recognize the warning signs before it is too late. If you are seasoned officer or the Rookie, this night of training could save your life one day. Let the First Responder Family Take Care of You.FREE, but Registration is Required.
