Tonights feature: DRE Period
DRE Period is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist blending alternative, soul, indie, and hip-hop into a sound that is distinctly his own. He draws inspiration from the mundane aspects of life and likes to see how he can make them worth mentioning by constantly exploring new artistic territories. His music creates a space where emotion, personal growth, and fantasy all intersect.
Beyond performing, DRE Period is passionate about sparking creative ecosystems. Through projects like The Room for Huemans Experience, he has produced a platform that fosters environments where artists can connect, collaborate, and thrive. His project, The Blue Tape, highlights his genre-blurring style, blending everyday experiences, deep reflections on life, and emotion into narratives that both reflect and challenge the norm. His upcoming project, NOISEMAKER*, further explores his unique take on the "alternative slice-of-life" genre, offering a fresh perspective on his artistic journey.
Left Jones (House Band)
LeftJones is a group of musicians focused on building a community within the Chicago art scene.
