From November 1st - 3rd, 2024, we will be offering 9 different hands on workshops in Salida, CO. Students can pick and choose from the available topics, or opt to take all 9 for a bundle discount.

Workshop #1: Stop The Bleed Certification: This is a ‘must-have’ class for everyone that teaches techniques to stop a life-threatening bleed. Students will also go home with a ‘Stop The Bleed’ kit to practice at home that includes a tourniquet, elastic bandage, & bulky gauze dressings in a travel first aid kit! Friday 10am – 12pm.

Workshop #2: Medicine Making 1: Learn how to make an herbal extract using two different techniques that allow you to make your own medicine at home easily! During this workshop you’ll sample extracts made using different approaches to see the difference! Friday 12:30 – 2:30pm.

Workshop #3: Medicine Making 2: Learn more advanced techniques for making herbal extracts using multiple ingredients and methods. You’ll learn to make medicine that pulls more medicinal properties out! Friday 3pm – 5pm.

Workshop #4: Fire Cider & Cold/Flu Formulas: Join us for a hands-on winter herbal medicine making workshop, where you'll learn to make formulas using herbs & traditional techniques to boost immunity & soothe seasonal ailments. Saturday 10am – 12 pm.

Workshop #5: Create Your Own Herbal First Aid Kit: We’ll teach you everything that goes into an herbal first aid kit for home and travel! Learn all the tricks! Saturday 12:30 – 2:30pm.

Workshop #6: Herbal First Aid Workshop: How to use herbs for wound and infection management at home and in the field! Learn some techniques and tools to work with for field medicine! Saturday 3-5pm.

Workshop #7: The ‘Lying Awake At Night’ Herbal Workshop: Lets talk about herbal formulas that are great at addressing insomnia, stress & anxiety. Sunday 10am – 12pm

Workshop #8: Winter Solstice Bitters Workshop: We will teach you how to make aromatic tasty bitters formulas just in time for winter celebrations! Sunday 12:30 – 2:30 pm.

Workshop #9: Skin Support Salve Workshop: Learn all the steps of making a healing herbal salve that soothes tissues, supports healing and mends sensitive skin. Sunday 3 – 5 pm

When: November 1st - 3rd, 2024. Workshops will run from 10am to 5pm with 30 minute breaks between each.

Tuition: Each individual workshop is $40, or register for all 9 for $300
