The Cookin' Catfish club 18 - In historic Rochester. A town brimming with Dickensian charm, numerous fine restaurants and bars, plenty of vintage shops and multiple hotels within easy walking distance of our venue, The Masonic Hall, Gundolph Square. Located inbetween Mamma Mia restaurant and the Royal Crown pub just off of Rochester High Street. ME1 1QD. The venue has a good size wooden dancefloor and large adjacent bar area with reasonable prices. What's not to love about partying right by Rochester's Norman castle?Expect to hear ferocious rhythm and blues, soaring club soul. Latin, jazz, ska, beat, garage and more. The greatest underground sounds of the 1950s and 1960s spun on original vinyl, to the sharpest, most energetic dancers in Medway. Saturday 28th March. 7.30 p.m until 1 a.m. The clocks go forwards on this date, making the official finish time 2 a.m on the fb event.
Joining the usual Catfish selectors for another electric night in Rochester we have three fantastic guest DJs.
Making his first appearance at the club, we're pleased to welcome Chris Dale to the CCC. Chris has been DJ'ing mod, Northern soul and rhythm and blues events for decades. Famously a resident DJ at the Mousetrap R&B club along with many New Untouchables events past, present and future. Expect those big ticket records along with some blistering new finds across the genres.
Also making a first appearance at the club, Andrea Mattioni. Andrea is now best known for promoting and DJ'ing the Dreamsville mod weekend each July over the past 15+ years. He had been involved in promoting and DJ'ing events and mod rallies for decades prior to Dreamsville, famously the Italian job weekender in Rimini as well as Smart Drivers events going back to the 1980s. Expect dancefloor dynamite from Andrea's record box on the night, again spanning multiple genres of music.
Also making a welcome return for his 17th appearance at CC, our resident guest DJ, Lee Miller. Come along and hear the new musical delights in his record box. His mixcloud is regularly updated with new mixes, https://www.mixcloud.com/leemiller315080/
It promises to be another fantastic night, with records spanning the advertised musical genres and more. Come and dance to the tunes you already love, alongside the records about to become your new favourites.

The Cookin' Catfish club naturally attracts and encourages very smart and colourfully dressed people, but we do not enforce any kind of dresscode. All are welcome. Please just be aware of the fantastic vintage environment you'll be walking into. We ask all attending to please keep your drinks off of the dancefloor area.
