“The conflict between history and the present: or, multichannel sound recording and sound systems in classical, experimental and scenic music, as part of the interpretive performance of music and dance productions”
The conference is held on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the composer, conductor and writer Pierre Boulez (1925-2016)

We have some great performers: the flautist Monika Štreitová and the clarinet virtuosi Karel Dohnal and Marek Švejkar.
The main international guest will be the composer Jaime Reis from Lisbon.

The conference is created at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as part of the institutional research project “Conflict between Theory and Practice” 2025 with the support of the Institutional Endowment for the Long Term Conceptual Development of Research Institutes, as provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic in the year 2025.
