She will be speaking on the topic - What’s Failing in Ontario’s Rental Housing System and the Policy Reforms That Can Fix It.
Kayla Andrade is a housing advocate, landlord consultant, and founder of Ontario Landlords Watch, a grassroots organization dedicated to bringing transparency, fairness, and accountability to Ontario’s rental housing system.
As a housing provider, mother of four, and small business owner, Kayla brings lived experience and practical insight into the realities facing landlords, tenants, and communities.
Kayla began her journey in housing at just 18 years old when she purchased her first rental property. Since then, she has become a trusted advisor, helping housing providers and professionals navigate legislation, compliance, and operational challenges.
Kayla is committed to ensuring housing policy reflects real-world experience and supports fair, sustainable, and accountable housing for residents, housing providers, and taxpayers.
