Featuring music from selected African American male and female arrangers and composers, the repertoire will include a Tribute to the Late Richard Smallwood, who passed on December 30, 2025, and was a 40-Year colleague of Dr. Herbert Jones, Founder-Director of the Chorale.Repertoire will include but not limited to the following:

“Total Praise” – Richard Smallwood (A Tribute)
“Psalm 117” – arr., Cedric Rouson (Anthemized Gospel)
“And He Blessed My Soul” – Anita Watkins-Stevens
“Jesus Paid It All” – arr., Robert Sterling (Anthemized Hymn)
“O Give Thanks” – arr., Dr. A. Jeffrey LaValley
“Sanctify Me” – V. Michael McKay
The concert will be an evening of praise and fellowship in song, as well as a celebration of community, in community, with community.
Free for Pitt students, $10 for Pitt faculty & staff, $15 for general admission.
