About this Event
The complex puzzle of friendship and bullying: providing avenues for intervention
Join Dr Rachel Maunder and Professor Claire Monks as they discuss some of the evidence showing how children's friendships relate to bullying experiences in important and complex ways. In particular, they will look how healthy and unhealthy friendships may play a role in children’s risk of bullying involvement and how they respond to bullying incidents.
They will also introduce core features of good quality friendships and how these can be nurtured in the school environment as part of anti-bullying initiatives.
There will be time for a short Q&A at the end, so you can bring your questions.
The event will be recorded and shared afterwards with those who signed up.
