The Community Farmers Market of Pleasant Hill is situated on the east side of Des Moines in Pleasant Hill. This market is dedicated to supporting it's over 50 local farmers, bakers, and artisans, with all products cultivated, raised, baked, or crafted by the vendors themselves. Attendees can look forward to a variety of fresh produce, eggs, meats, crafts, live music and activities for the kids, including free train rides.The Market will be held every Monday from June 1 to August 31, located just 2 miles east of the state fairgrounds at 5299 E University, Pleasant Hill, IA (in the parking lot of Berean Church). Operating hours are from 4 PM to 7 PM.
