As Women+ of Color faculty and staff, you're often holding it all—leading, mentoring, advocating, and showing up for your students and colleagues—while navigating institutional structures that were not built with you in mind. You deserve space that centers your wellness, your leadership, and your full humanity.

Zora’s House presents The Common Room: For Women+ of Color Faculty & Staff, a monthly gathering designed to offer deep connection, holistic care, and mutual support for WOC+ professionals working in academia.

Each month, a small group of WOC+ faculty and staff will come together off-campus to:

1. Cultivate authentic relationships and a trusted circle of support
2. Discuss the challenges, responsibilities, triumphs, and realities of working in higher education
3. Share strategies for maintaining well-being while navigating professional demands
4. Strengthen networks that help WOC+ faculty and staff thrive—not just survive—in their roles

This event is FREE, but admittance requires a purchase from The Purple Door Café, our on-site café serving up coffee, pastries, and good vibes. Grab a cup, then grab a seat!
