A blend of community sauna, herbal medicine, sustenance from our local community and land, art, movement, somatic practice and fire create the perfect recipe for renewing, nourishing and awakening your body, mind and spirit.
This two-day retreat will be a mix of relaxing and engaging activities guided and hosted by three local women entrepreneurs, with seasonal meals and gorgeous accommodations provided by Seven Acre Dairy (and Little Cloud Cafe)- and the land around us. Immerse yourself in the beauty and bounty of southern Wisconsin in the early spring. We’ll sweat, move, relax, eat and connect as we emerge from the long Wisconsin winter.
We start the retreat gathering together to set intentions,and connect as a group. From there we will enjoy a tea ceremony to celebrate the harvest around us before enjoying a special guided cheese tasting and charcuterie board making experience (with some gifts to take home!). After filling our bellies, we will enjoy a somatic practice before heading into the sauna. During the sauna we split into two smaller groups, enjoying the intimacy of the fire, the delightful water of the river and a chance to create art/collage.
After a short break, with time to reset, we will enjoy a delicious off menu meal made especially for our group, to share together. Seven Acre chefs use local ingredients and add their creative flair.
Finally we will embrace the fire - a bonfire with cider outside under the night sky. Stay as long as you want or head inside to get some rest in a luxurious room at this boutique hotel situated along a river.
We’ll enjoy a leisurely morning, with a delicious breakfast, breathwork and a walk, weather permitting, before heading home.
