🌈 Join us for the next round of The Common Cents Club, hosted by Pride PEI and the PEI Transgender Network! 💰 No financial knowledge necessary, all are welcome in this space. Facilitated by professional bookkeeper Margot Williams (she/her) this event offers a relaxed environment to learn and grow together.📚 This meeting of the Common Cents Club will focus on preparing for tax season.
How Does This Session Work?
One-on-One Sessions:
- Register for a 30-minute one-on-one session with one of our financial advisors at a time that suits you.
- Arrive at least 5 minutes early for your registered time slot, bringing any necessary personal tax documents, information, or questions.
- Work through your personal taxes with a professional, regardless of where you are in the process.
- If you wish, stay after your session to co-work on your documents with peers in our co-working space.
Note: Registration is required for these advisory time slots.
Can't Join Us for a Personal 1-on-1 Slot?
- Attend a drop-in work session with a floating professional and your peers at any time between 10 AM and 2 PM.
- No registration is needed for the drop-in session.
Other Notes:
This session is designed for all levels of tax knowledge, whether you haven't filed in years, haven't begun the process for this year, or are seeking advice as you prepare to file. We encourage registrants to bring their laptops and any paperwork or electronic copies related to income and expenses that could assist in filing their taxes. If you're unsure about the relevance of any documents, bring them along.
