About this Event

About the Workshop
This fast-paced 75-minute workshop blends improv and storytelling techniques with time-tested public speaking principles. Each of the 10 participants will take the stage at least three times for short, impromptu speeches while receiving tactical tips and supportive feedback. No preparation is needed — and regardless of your age or level of experience, you’ll walk away a more comfortable and empowered speaker.

Why Join?

  • Hands-on practice: Everyone speaks multiple times in a safe, small-group setting
  • Practical tools: Learn techniques you can apply immediately at work or social events
  • Supportive atmosphere: Emphasis on fun, experimentation, and encouragement

About the Instructor
I’ve been a lifelong public speaking and storytelling aficionado, having taken the stage hundreds of times as a CEO, corporate media executive, and entrepreneur — and many more times as President of Flatiron Toastmasters, one of New York’s most popular public speaking clubs. It’s been a roller coaster ride with thrilling highs and frustrating lows, all of which shaped the lessons I bring into this workshop.

Over the past year, I’ve delivered this program at schools, companies, and organizations with great feedback. Now, I’m excited to make it available to everyone.
