Joon Hee Kim explores the human instinct to aspire towards resonance and self-expression through sculptural form colour and graphic pattern. These come together to reveal the self in its entirety so that the characters presented simultaneously declare a celebration of existence.
Colours sing in this exhibition as the human portrait encapsulates the potential beauty and vibrancy within. It becomes undeniable that flowers have bloomed within us and have rooted deep inside our hearts. We who have a soft and ever-changing nature will flourish gracefully until discovering more about who we are as we seek out who we want to become.
