The Colour of Injustice: Community, Lived Experience and the Future of Accountability
Join Lee Lawrence and a panel of leading lawyers Garry Green KC criminal justice barrister, Anthony Graham qualified solicitor for over 25 years, Aika Stephenson Founder of Just for Kids Law, Raju Bhatt one of the Founders of Bhatt Murphy, as they share powerful lived experiences of navigating policing, injustice and the legal system in Britain. Hosted by Jodie Anderson Co-Lead of the Casework INQUEST, this community-centred event explores how Black families and neighbourhoods have challenged state failures, driven legal reform, and built movements for truth and accountability. The discussion also examines how modern policing practices and new technologies shape everyday life and trust, and what real change requires. A compelling conversation for anyone committed to community strength, lived experience, and building an equitable justice system for future generations.
Books and drinks will be available for purchase, and the evening will be accompanied by live musical entertainment.
