The Code Intervention – Session 2 is all about getting started with SQL, the language used to talk to databases. Whether you’re brand new to coding or just curious about how apps store and retrieve data, this hands-on session will guide you step by step.
We’ll cover the core SQL commands — SELECT, WHERE, ORDER BY, and GROUP BY — through live demos and challenges you can try yourself. By the end, you’ll know how to query data, filter results, and even summarize information from a database.
To wrap up, we’ll introduce how AI tools can help generate and debug SQL queries, showing you how humans + AI can work together.
No experience is needed — just bring your laptop and curiosity.
