Join Chocolatier Phyllis Robinson of Tandem Chocolates for a guided chocolate experience!The class begins with a tasting of several single origin chocolates where we will discover the effect of terroir on chocolate. During the tasting, we'll discuss the history of chocolate and the current state of cacao production.
Next, we'll dive into a hands-on experience of hand rolling, dipping, and decorating truffles. Each participant will make a dozen truffles to take home along with the recipe and instructions for handcrafting truffles.
Aprons and gloves will be provided, but chocolate does have a way of getting everywhere, so dress casually.
Please refrain from wearing heavy fragrances, as it can affect the chocolate tasting.
