Juneteenth reminds us that the fight for freedom didn't end with the Civil War, just as it didn't end with the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Today, as Tennessee Republican legislators gerrymander away Black representation, that fight continues. Join us as we honor that legacy and organize for the future.
This year, we’re thrilled to have extraordinary guest speakers including State Senator Gloria Johnson, Justin Kanew from TN Holler, Congressional candidates Victoria Broderick and Mike Cortese, and many more. You won't want to miss these powerful messages from our current and future representatives.
We will also be having a Silent Auction featuring some great items with a portion of the proceeds going to assist Coffee County citizens to eliminate the county’s medical debt of over $900,000. In addition, Contest Every race, a nonpartisan organization, is helping us eliminate $200 of medical debt for every $1 we raise. With your help, we can totally eliminate this medical debt hanging over our fellow citizens’ heads.
Tickets are available for $20 at the door, and include all-you-can-eat food and beverages. Children 12 and under eat free!
