About this Event

DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED

Neck pain occurs when joints and muscles in the neck are over working due to improper vertebral biomechanics. If one vertebra is slightly twisted, bent or restricted in some way, then some tissues at this spinal segments will underwork and others will overwork. Where there is back pain, there is disrupted biomechnics, that is inevitable. But why is this mechanical disturbance created in the first place?

Nerves from all over the body pour their neural load through the spine and into the spinal cord in order to relay information to the brain. Consequently, any issues anywhere in the body will be communicated via its nerves and into the spine, causing disrupted mechanics to the bones, joints, discs and muscles.

The neck is particularly affected by the diaphragm and organ nerves as they pour their neural load into the cervical spine. An organ causal issue will therefore inevitably create tension on one side of the neck via its neural connection. Resolving the causal organ issue is paramount in regaining proper neck function and resolving pain.

This presentation will focus on the different tissues in the neck (discs, joints, muscles, bone, nerves), the process of how these tissues may generate pain and how to resolve it.
