SJÖBLOM is the brainchild of the multi-talented Johan Sjöblom Eliot, known for his exceptional work with Sweden's iconic post-punk/dark indie sensation, The Exploding Boy (Official), and Robert Eklind (previously in the goth rock band Malaise)
In 2016, after a decade of dedicated contributions to The Exploding Boy, Johan embarked on a journey to share the songs he had nurtured over the years—ones that truly capture his essence without any compromise. While his music retains its core darkness, his melodic compositions have grown even more potent, occasionally taking a more deliberate pace. Hints of pop and indie influences now weave through his sonic tapestry, though the unmistakable pulse of his gothic heart remains ever-present.
