We have one more program before the year ends! The Carpenter Not the Tools is all about making a movie with what you have. It's perfect for someone wanting to get started but unsure how to begin. Don't be daunted by expensive gear! Your instructor will be Colorado filmmaker Eric Abramson - a TV and film professional whose work has been seen on PrimeSports, MTV, ITV, NHK, NBC, CBS, PBS Int’l, ESPN, RSN, NHNZ, Discovery, GaiamTV, Nugs.net, iClips, eTown, Blue Skye Barn and other worldwide carriers.
He prefers to shoot, direct, and light in no particular order of preference. He started in film, transitioned to HD video and loves full frame sensors. Nowadays he finds himself cutting his short form content on DaVinci Resolve and utilizing iPhones on occasion to acquire footage.
His wheelhouse is documentary, music video, concert performances, interviews, multicam live streaming and recorded capture.
The program is FREE and will be held in the Eldorado Room of the Boulder Public Library (Main Branch). Space is limited - sign up today!
