Get ready to unwrap the perfect gift of music, laughter, and holiday cheer with "The Caroles’ Holiday Variety Show"! Join indie folk darlings Christina Apostolopoulos and Emily Anderson—together known as The Caroles—for a magical evening as they debut the second chapter of their Holiday EP, featuring a delightful mix of original holiday tunes and nostalgic covers.

About the EP

Recorded in Los Angeles, the EP captures the duo’s shared passion for cozy harmonies and seasonal magic. Originals like “Melt My Heart” and “The Best Gift” evoke winter evenings by the fire with loved ones, while their interpretations of “Auld Lang Syne” and “Jingle Bells” offer a contemporary perspective on holiday classics.

The EP also features the talents of their friends and colleagues James Yoshizawa on percussion, Chris Rolontz on bass, Pamela Lord on violin, and Nigel Wilson on accordion.

“This EP all started with one co-write that went so well we thought, why not make an entire album together?” Anderson says. “We wanted to create something that felt like stepping into your favorite holiday movie.”

Apostolopoulos adds, “This project allowed us to merge our individual strengths into something entirely new, and we can’t wait for people to experience the joy we’ve poured into it.”

Emily Anderson is an award winning songwriter and touring artist from Fairbanks, Alaska and currently based in Los Angeles. Her songs have also been featured in TV (Love is Blind, Season 8) and video games (Calico, The Stars Between Us) and her single "Gold" was featured in a national Miller Lite campaign. Anderson has toured the US and Canada, sharing the stage with acclaimed artists like Alex Lahey, Sarah Tudzin, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, and Peter Mulvey. Her poignant lyrics and intimate indie soundscapes are akin to Regina Spektor ruminating over coffee with Phoebe Bridgers.

Christina Apostolopoulos is a Greek-Canadian songwriter and guitarist. Born in Toronto and raised on the sunny shores of Santa Barbara, she began her own guitar journey at age 7 eventually attending Berklee College of Music on a partial scholarship studying Guitar Performance. She exceeded her monetary goal in a Kickstarter campaign to fund her first full-length album, The Only Thing I’m Good At. Her songs have since had placements in film & television and are regularly featured on The Young and the Restless. In addition to her solo career, Christina is a sought-after session musician, known predominantly for her slide guitar chops. She has played lead guitar for many bands, including Vista Kicks, with whom she opened for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park in London. Christina currently plays lead guitar for the post-punk band Cuffed Up and female White Stripes-esque duo project Good Juice.
