We’re excited to announce the return of the Carnegies Book Town Takeover , on 18 March 2025. This year’s headline speaker is Joseph Coelho, 2024 Carnegie Medal Winner for Writing, who will be joined by authors and illustrators from the 2025 Carnegie longlists and shortlists.The event will feature a dynamic daytime programme with free sessions for primary (AM) and secondary (PM) school groups, celebrating the power of books, reading and storytelling. The event is part of a continued partnership between CILIP, the Sedbergh Book Town Literary Trust, Sedbergh School, Sedbergh Prep School and Pen&Inc magazine.
