Stained Glass Flowers | Sat 22 Mar | 12-4pm | £45 | 16+ yrs | Tutor Sarah Walkley | Studio 2
Students will be shown how to cut glass safely and will cut out flowers from coloured glass, wrap adhesive copper foil around the edges in order to join the pieces together using a soldering iron. Stalks can be attached to ‘plant’ the flowers or hooks can be attached to hang them up.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
The session will include teacher lead demonstrations and individual tuition according to student’s needs.
Who is it suitable for?
The course is suitable for age 16 upwards.
What do I need to bring?
Students need to bring up to £20 to cover material costs, all tools and materials are provided.

About the tutor:
Sarah Walkley trained at Vetrate Artistiche Toscana in Siena between 1994-1995. She had a stained glass studio in London for several years before setting up business in Kendal and developing a specialist fused glass range named Sarah Bibet Fused Glass, which she now sells online and to local shops. Sarah has been teaching her skills to classes for 30 years.
