Carers Garden – Training Days

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and enjoy some hands‑on learning at our Carers Garden Training Days! These friendly, practical sessions are designed to help unpaid carers build confidence in outdoor skills while enjoying time in nature.

Join us on Friday 27th February, Friday 6th March, and Friday 13th March from 10am–12pm at Eglinton Community Gardens, Eglinton Park, Kilwinning.

Across the three sessions you’ll explore:

Introduction to the garden site & staying safe – a guided tour of the space and essential safety tips
Outdoor first aid basics – a short, practical guide to dealing with minor incidents outdoors
Safe tool handling – learn how to confidently and safely use common gardening tools

Each session offers plenty of opportunity to get your hands dirty, meet other carers, and enjoy some time outdoors while learning valuable skills.
