About this Event
The Caregivers Forum is an annual event in support of family caregivers by the very best in local resources for those aging-in-place.
Hosted by the Senior Friendship Centers, at the Harvest House Venue on Feb. 8, 2025.
Our event will open with continental breakfast and refreshment station as our Patron level ticket holders find a reserved seating section at round tables in front of the stage. Patrons may arrive at 8am for early access. General Admission is 8:15am.
This year, we will feature two exceptional MD keynote from Dr. Miguel Rivera (Geri-Psychiatrist, "the Dementia Doc") and Dr. Derrick DeSilva (35 yr Internal
Medicine and Functional Medicine MD, focused on wellness care) Additionally, we will offer two expert "boots on the ground" break-out sessions for Caregivers to fortify their caregiving plan and care support system.
In this registration's question section, along with your name and email, you will be asked to select your two break-out speakers:
Paula Falk-Creating your circle of care team, a hands-on planning session
John Griffin- Building your emergency, long term and legal plans
Pam Polowski- Understanding dementia care, aging-in-place with their loved one
We'll then enjoy a delicious, catered lunch with a choice of two
lunch selections (the veggie wrap is gluten & dairy free), and conversation
with community resource providers and other Caregivers.
Our event will wrap up with a panel of local senior service experts and moderated panel
discussion.
Pre-event registration ticketing is required, your name will be
at the will-call list at the door, no need to print tickets. Patron ticket holders will also receive an nvitation to our catered Patron VIP reception on Feb. 6, 5-6:30pm with Dr. Rivera, Dr. DeSilva, John Griffin, our break-out session speakers and top-level sponsors at Senior Friendship Centers.
Please note all tickets are one per order. If you are registering for a friend attending, it is very important you register them separately please, using their name, email, their speaker selection and contact information please.
There are two levels of tickets, sold electronically through Eventbrite only
via credit card. We cannot accept personal checks as payment.
The 2/8/25 event is for pre-sold ticket holders, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate day of walk-ins. Please note, we do not have respite care available for this event.All tickets first come, first serve for this popular annual event so please
purchase your ticket as soon as possible.
Once we are sold out- there is no wait list. There are no refunds offered for cancelations.

The event committee and co-chairs Pam Polowski and Paula Faulk have organized an exceptional wrap around event for family caregivers. We look forward to providing this once-a-year 1/2 day of connections, education, and support for you! And excited to add the $100 Patron level ticket and VIP reception this year.
