This coming Sunday, May 3rd, I will be in Saint John at Fog City ComicCon reading aloud – for the first time – the centrepiece and longest story in my first book ‘Backyard History: Forgotten Stories From Atlantic Canada’s Past.’ It is called ‘The Candy Killer’ and is the true story of a 1880s poisoner on the loose in the Port City who was targeting the city’s priests and ministers with candies poisoned with strychnine!
This event is FREE and ALL ARE WELCOME! (Despite the topic, it's not a gory talk ... mostly because I'm rather squeamish!)
