It has been way too long since we have gotten wild on a field in sundresses and bowties… If you have never been to Garden Party before you are in for an absolute treat. May all your college dreams come true. ❤️
Tucked-away in the corner of campus lies a hidden gem of UBC. Past the trees and across a dirt road you’ll find an orchard-framed field known as the UBC Farm. On the Eve of Garden Party the farm will be be transformed into stunning festival grounds. Imagine a pinterest wedding for college where nobody is getting married and everyone is the cool aunt.
You’ll be sitting on hay bails, getting those golden hour pics with your crew while you feel the last of the warm summer breeze. As the sun sets into the Pacific and the fairy lights come up, the night transforms from classy croquet to dancing the night away under the stars with live music in your ears. So grab your squad, collect your brand new roommates, dig out your sun hats, suspenders and sundresses and party like you’ve been locked away for a year (oof).
After months and months apart, on the very first day that we will all be reunited, let’s show the new faces how UBC does it. Let's grab a beer and head under the stars while the DJ plays those classic college beats that are sure to spark unforgettable memories. It’s gonna be a wild one so join us in kicking off a year for the fucking books the best way we know how!

Proof of full vaccination will be required to enter. Proof of vaccination includes either your actual vaccination record card, a photo of your card or a screenshot of your Covid immunization history on BC Health Link or equivalent official documents from your province or country of origin. Must be 7 days after your second shot.

Garden Party will follow all health and safety protocols laid out by the BC Government for outdoor events. Garden Party is a COVID compliant event for both Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the BC restart plan. To learn more about what you can do to be mindful of COVID-19 please read the following points
? Please consider wearing a mask in high-density areas
? Do NOT come to the event if you are feeling sick, even if symptoms are mild. Please reach out to [email protected] if you cannot attend due to COVID-19.
? There will be hand-washing and sanitizing stations located throughout the farm, and we encourage you to also bring your own hand sanitizer as well.
? Please be mindful of those around you who are wearing masks or physical distancing, and be sure to respect their boundaries.
? Ask for consent before physically touching people (this is across the board, consent is ALWAYS mandatory).
