The Caezars at the Boston Arms Rockabilly Club

Well, well, well, folks! We heard that some of you out there may be at a loose end on 15th June due to some rather unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances down in that there Camber Sands.

So, we thought we'd better come to your rescue with the return of the Boston Arms Rockabilly Club! After an absolute barnstormer of a night back in January celebrating the true one-off pioneer and host of the Boston Arms Rockabilly Club for several years, Cosmic Keith, it only felt right to carry on the legacy by getting our act together and putting on many more shows of out of this world quality.

So, what better way to start than a band that Keith loved (and Dave still does love!) and got behind right from day one, The Caezars, for their only London show of 2024 and we can guarantee an explosive live show from one of the very best bands the UK Rockabilly scene has produced in the past 20 years and a peerless selection of the finest rockin' 45's to batter your lugholes with!

The Caezars

“Surf-infused rockabilly badasses” – (Vive Le Rock Magazine) The Caezars are BACK to conquer the world after an almost 10-year hiatus with their “vintage styled surf-rock & rock’n’roll that Tarantino would be proud of” (Timeout Magazine). They have performed with icons including The Vaccines, Brian Setzer, Adam Ant, and Imelda May, who described them as “about 70 per cent Rockabilly with a big chunk of post-punk, with an electricity I love”. Declared to have “the song-writing skills and liveability to re-energise Rockabilly music for a whole new generation” (Mudkiss Fanzine) they are a band to be missed at your peril! Recently signed to Folc Records there is a brand new 45 and full length LP also being released to coincide with the small amount of shows for 2024. Supporting the Ceazars for this show will be Erika and the Ravens. This new London trio recently supported the Jim Jones All Stars at the 100 Club. You'll want to make sure you're there early enough to catch these for sure!

Dave Crozier
If there is anyone out there with a better collection of Rockabilly that Mr. Crozier, then we're yet to meet them. Always guaranteed to play the absolute best of the best of the best, Dave is a pioneering DJ with tastes that spread far and wide, but always the cream of the crop in no matter what genre. Dave ran the Boston alongside Keith for several years and, during that time, introduced so many people to classic, previously undiscovered gems that have now become staple records in the Rockabilly world. It's fantastic that Dave is back and raring to go, back at The Boston Arms where he belongs!

Little Carl
Brought up on a diet of solid rock'n'roll from an early age and not caring for the current tunes of the day, Little Carl has flirted with some other sounds that skirted the Rock’n’Roll/Rockabilly scenes since the late 80’s after being Introduced to the Cramps and other twisted rock’n’roll. Still a hardcore lover of Rockabilly and rock’n’roll, Carl is never scared to Introduce a few “Outside the box” tunes into his sets to shake things up. Carl has spun 45s all over London, Europe and USA, Including recently the Beatsters, Shindig, Weirdsville and the Trip Out weekend, along with his Hot Dang Dilly Club and is also very much at the reigns of the new Boston Arms venture!

Our guest DJ for this Boston arms Rockabilly Club night will be Mr Sonny Rocket.
He's DJ'd at many clubs & events including Hot dang Dilly, Dingwalls, Brighton Rumble & Switchblades and numerous specialised nights in Brighton at The Dorset Bar.
Sonny gained valued experience when running his own successful Brighton based club nights School of Rock n Roll & Runnin' Wild.
He's had a blast at a good few weekenders such as the High Rockabilly in Spain & the Rockabilly Rave UK as a headline DJ.
