Shake off the winter blues with an intense thriller from Bijou Theatre Productions, as Pam White directs 'The Business of Murder' by Richard Harris.~
"Dee is a successful television playwright, whose stories explore the dark and gritty world of murder, taking inspiration wherever she finds it. Detective Hallet is a serious Superintendent, a man who has made a career locking up real life murderers. Finally, Stone is a seemingly ordinary man with no connection to murder, but with an errant son who may be wrapped up in crimes of his own.
Stone has invited Dee around to his flat to discuss a script his wife has written, but after a twisting discussion of murder, he disappears. When Hallett also arrives at Stone's flat he's surprised to find Dee, could it be more than chance that has them meeting here?
This slow burning thriller will keep you guessing as we unravel the connections between our three characters. What ties them together, in the Business of Murder?"
~
Pam White previously directed this play for Dawlish Rep, and starred in our 2022 production of 'Dead Guilty' also by Richard Harris, so we know this thriller is in expert hands!
