An afternoon of fine Canadian Songwriters, folk roots and blues - curated by Steve Marriner.Doors 1:30pm
Showtime 2:00pm
Leeroy Stagger is a beloved, award-winning Canadian Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Master Storyteller. Stylistically his music moves between Folk, Roots and Rocknroll.
He is Inspired as much by John Prine and Nick Drake as he is Tom Petty and Joe Strummer. For the past twenty years, he has been touring North America and Europe, making records and gaining a strong and, more importantly, dedicated following.
His music is written through the lens of a spiritual path through addiction and recovery; he cuts a trail through the human condition in only a way that a veteran observational traveller and artist can.
Leeroy was signed to the infamous Canadian Label True North Records (Bruce Cockburn, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings) as well as industry mogul Danny Goldberg’s (Nirvana, Steve Earle, The Cranberries) Gold Lake Records.
He has supported and toured with Steve Earle, Josh Ritter, Buffy Sainte Marie, Frazey Ford, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, Los Lobos, The Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell, and more.
He is just as at home in a cafe with an audience of 50 as he is on a festival stage with an audience of 10,000.
These days Leeroy is raising kids and producing records in his studio, Neighbourhood Recorders. He is also the host of the weekly Dirty Windshields Radio hour on world-famous CKUA radio
Paul Reddick (Singer, songwriter and harmonica player) has been performing his critically acclaimed original songs on stages across Canada, the USA and Europe for over 30 years.
He has recorded and written with Colin Linden, Tom Wilson (Lee Harvey Osmond) and MonkeyJunk among others, and recorded 10 albums of his own. His most recent recording, Ride the One (on Stony Plain Records), received the 2016 Juno Award for Best Blues Album.
Geoff Arsenault is a multi award winning, veteran, touring and recording artist. Based in the East of Canada, his unique style and skill behind the drum kit has taken him clear across North America, all through Europe, and the UK.
He has THREE ‘solo recordings’ to his name; This Ain’t No Fiction [2006], Voodoo Baby Rattle [2011]… and his brand new 2025 release: HIRED HAND.
Geoff’s music sits somewhere between ‘Tony Joe White and ‘J.J. Cale’ – a real swampy, blues roots music style, tinged with a pinch of Tex-Mex, and a dash of New Orleans blues.
Kevin Breit is the leader of the quartet Sisters Euclid, comprising Breit, Ian DeSouza, Gary Taylor and Rob Gusevs. Sisters Euclid earned a Juno Award in 2007. In 2006, they released an instrumental jazz fusion album of Neil Young songs entitled Run Neil Run. Breit is a member of The Stretch Orchestra with fellow "quite tall" musicians Matt Brubeck and drummer Jesse Stewart. Their self-titled recording won a Juno Award in 2012 for Best Instrumental Album. Breit is also part of the Neon Eagle band which played at The Rex, a jazz club located in Toronto, in 2023. He has played and toured with musicians such as Cassandra Wilson, Holly Cole, and Norah Jones.
