The Burway are a Stroud-based four piece playing a vaguely folk-adjacent style of music with four part harmonies and a mix of acoustic instruments alongside electronic, synth elements.
The songs are drawn from observations on morality, mortality and the general human condition, but much more ‘hummable’ than that might sound.
In terms of musical pedigree, Matt (who plays keys) also records and performs as his solo alter-ego Delifinger (his album is out on Lost Map records). And all four members of The Burway used to play in Grasscourt, who also had a string of EP’s released with Lost Map. This is a free event but donations are encouraged...
