  THE BURL BENEFITBesides being a huge music fan and a supporter of many local bands and clubs, Burl Gilyard is also a longtime Twin Cities writer going back to the Minnesota Daily and the Twin Cities Reader. These days he writes for the Star Tribune’s Business section. But since last fall, a series of medical issues have set him back and kept him off the job. Now Trailer Trash, ElnO and a Mystery Band TBA on May 19 are pitching in to help offset ongoing medical expenses that he and his wife Nicole are experiencing. Join us Sunday, June 1 at The Hook from 2-6 pm to raise funds – and the roof – with these 3 best loved twin city bands on one bill. Food trucks, lotsa friends and many a good tune are guaranteed.
