About this Event
Join us for a weekend retreat at a serene, natural setting to detox our minds from the day to day clutter.
Every day, we wake up to a new set of challenges; uncertainties, pressures, and questions we may not feel fully equipped to handle. While we are often well-versed in the physical sciences, many of us have little understanding of the science of the mind, the very thing that shapes how we experience the world.
According to Buddhist philosophy, the world we perceive is not separate from us; it is deeply influenced by our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and past experiences. At the heart of this understanding lies the principle of cause and effect a fundamental law that governs not only the external world, but also the inner workings of the mind.
This retreat invites you to explore how this timeless principle operates in everyday life. Through guided discussions, reflective exercises, and interactive sessions, you will begin to uncover how your mental patterns shape your reality and how greater awareness can lead to clarity, balance, and resilience.
This 2-day residential retreat is designed to guide you to βdetoxβ the mind by understanding its nature. Set in a calm environment immersed in nature, this experience will combine thoughtful exploration of deep Buddhist insights with practical mindfulness practices.
