If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary to do in April, we’ve got just the thing: on Saturday, April 11, we’re hosting a free, one-of-a-kind comedy performance from the University of Florida’s Driveway Theatre Project — and it promises to be a FUN afternoon! The show is a wild, free-form retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales — all of them, more or less—crammed into one gloriously chaotic performance. Two narrators race through the stories at breakneck speed, weaving together Rapunzel, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rumpelstiltskin, and more, including some of the more obscure tales you probably didn’t grow up with. The result is one gigantic, madcap fable with plenty of audience participation along the way.
Tickets are FREE and open to all. RSVP at the link below. You must have a ticket to reserve your seat.
