The National Gala For Photography
This November brings another opportunity to attend the lavish British Photography Awards, at the stately ballroom of the Dorchester, on Park Lane in central London. From the champagne reception and fantastic food to the 19 category photographic gallery and stellar awards show. And as the entertainment is all topped off by our famous afterparty until 2am, there is certainly something for everyone at this luxurious British venue.
The newly renovated Dorchester has undergone historic renovations for this year and will be an incredible backdrop for the incredible 2022 national photographic showcase.

Who Attends The British Photography Awards?
Our last event was attended by celebrities, film stars, TV personalities, politicians, heads of associations, esteemed judges, curators, collectors, honourees, academics, charity workers, sponsors and journalists; all coming together to celebrate the incredible work of the British photographic sector.
Raising money for The Prince's Trust
£5 per ticket sold will be donated to The Prince’s Trust to support young people transform their lives. The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198) Find out more about their incredible work here.
Canapés and Cocktails
Enjoy our bar offerings and cocktail options throughout the night until 2AM, as well as canapés and delicious bowl foods served straight from the Dorchester’s world-famous Michelin starred kitchens. This is one of the finest places in the world to enjoy some of the most sumptuous hospitality - but what else is going on at BPA2022?

Now celebrating 19 categories, our gala showcase has even more to fascinate and excite. From hard-hitting photojournalism and spellbinding scenes of our planet to portraits of people, products and all sorts of creatures - we can’t wait! Come and celebrate with our passionate photographers as each category is showcased separately in a momentous display for everyone to enjoy!
This year, we are not inviting just four nominees per category, but everyone from the shortlist to celebrate all the images and be as inclusive as possible.
When To Book
We are a national cultural showcase, and so are open to all; however, these tickets are strictly limited. Just as in previous years, after the publicly available tickets have been sold, that is us SOLD OUT barring any final cancellations. There is, however, no guarantee there will be any cancellation allocations, so we suggest booking now to avoid disappointment.
As The Photography Awards Limited is a VAT-registered company (312452050), all public ticket sales are offered inclusive of VAT costs. Receipts for VAT are available on request.
Our non-profit competition raises money for 19 key UK charities and aids some vital causes each year.
