About this Event

The Norwich Society came into being in order to save Bishop Bridge (the city's oldest existing bridge) in 1923. Since that date, the Society has been actively involved with other bridges and with the creation of the Riverside Walk. This guided tour will follow the Wensum, examining its role in the history of Norwich, with special attention to the bridges and the part the Norwich Society has played in protecting them.
