The transition from perimenopause to post-menopause can be daunting, as it brings significant changes to our bodies, emotions, and minds. This workshop, titled "The Bridge," is designed to provide support as we cross over to the other side, empowering you with knowledge and tools for this journey.
In this safe space, we will come together as a circle of women to explore the changes occurring in our bodies and brains that can lead to overwhelming symptoms during perimenopause.
As a menopause yoga teacher, I draw on my research in neuroscience and the unique aspects of the female brain, highlighting the importance of yoga, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
We will delve into theoretical frameworks such as the science of women's brains, yoga philosophy, and engage in a tailored practice that combines pranayama, meditation, and groups of asanas. This practice is specifically designed to help alleviate common symptoms such as hot flushes, insomnia, anxiety, and mood swings.
