🎬 A short documentary created by Fotini Kondyli, Associate Professor of Byzantine Archaeology & Art (UVA), that follows the BRIA team, a group of scholars and students as they journey across borders between Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey to uncover the rich history of Medieval Thrace. The film explores how collaboration, shared knowledge, and a landscape-centered approach reveal the monuments, communities, and stories that define this historic region, highlighting interconnected narratives of shared history and human experience.
