The Keep Going Together Community Art Show continues at the JMRL Central Library 3rd Floor with a special emphasis on celebrating banned books and considering the impact of censorship on all of us. At 6pm in the Swanson Room, Karen Duncan Pape, a fine art photographer living and working in Charlottesville will speak about her recent show “De-Circulated”, a project on banned books. She will show images from the show and field any questions and discussion about the topic.
Also at the reception, will be refreshments, music and a raffle for art of all kinds!
Please join us to learn more about what's at stake when we lose access to books.
