The goal of this event is to honor and remember our friend, Brett Gelbach, with a day that reflects exactly who he was - full of laughter, adventure, friendship, and giving back. The BrettGelbach Annual Fun Run was created to celebrate his life through boating, storytelling, and camaraderie, while raising money for a scholarship fund established in his name. This scholarship will support young adults entering the skilled trades - Something Brett was deeply passionate about as demonstrated throughout his exceptional career and his desire to coach and mentor others. There is no better way to honor him than by spending the day doing what he loved most and helping others follow in his footsteps.
The Brett Gelbach Annual Fun Run will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The day will begin with breakfast and registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the start of the fun run, which includes multiple stops and activities throughout
the day. After a full day on the water, participants and sponsors will gather for dinner, live music, raffles, and continued celebration of Brett’s life. Proceeds from the event will directly
benefit the trade scholarship fund established in Brett’s name.
