About this Event
From the team behind the nation’s largest sound bath events—for a powerful evening of breath and sound inside St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in San Diego.
This special year-end gathering combines two deeply restorative practices: a 15-minute guided breathwork session, followed by a 60-minute live sound bath.
What is breathwork? Breathwork is a guided breathing technique that helps you release stress, tension, and emotional buildup from the body. It’s active, energizing, and often leads to a surprising sense of clarity and calm. We’ll begin the evening by breathing together—using the power of breath to open up, release, and let go of what’s been weighing on you this year.
Then, the sound bath begins, you’ll be guided into stillness. A group of musicians will play live instruments—gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, flutes, and chimes—filling the cathedral with resonant, calming frequencies. You’ll lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound wash through you. The combination of breathwork and sound can create a deep sense of peace and renewal, helping you reset the nervous system and reconnect to yourself.
What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow (or anything that helps you feel comfortable lying down). The cathedral floor can be cool, so we recommend dressing in warm, layered clothing.
