The Boston Camerata: Sing We Noel
A much-loved Camerata holiday program returns! Celebrate Christmas in the English speaking world down through the centuries, with wonderful songs and carols from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance to early America.
While most music presented has been transcribed from old manuscripts and prints, the means of expression are generally direct and simple, with a strong folk and popular vein.
Camerata's top soloists, Anne Azéma, Deborah Rentz-Moore, and Camila Parias will be joined by Shira Kammen, vielle and harp and Christa Patton, harp and winds. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the beauty of Sing We Noel in the lovely Asbury Hall!
