The ‘Boro Sessions presents "David Burney Sings Johnny Cash" - in tribute, delivering "Cash's classic songs" with a distinct, engaging, and heartfelt vocal style...For nearly 20 years, David Burney has fronted the nationally touring tribute band, The Johnny Folsom 4. This summer, The ’Boro Sessions brings Burney's updated one-man performance, "Hello, I’m Johnny Cash”, to Greensboro at a seated listening room concert on Sunday, June 28, 2:00-4:00PM/doors open at 1:00PM. This solo show oƯers an intimate, narrative-driven journey through the music, life and legend of the Man in Black.

Advanced ticket sales end online at midnight the night before the show; however tickets WILL BE available at the door on the day of Show, even if the ticketing platform says “all ticket sales have ended". This phrase only refers to online ticket sales, but tickets are available at the door, and we can’t wait to see you there!
The venue sells beer, wine, spirits coffee, tea, sodas, etc. as well as pizza and bakery snacks. Free parking is available in the venue parking lot, on the street, and in the adjacent gravel lot on the corner of Gate City Blvd & S. Elm St.
