Come hear the music of The Bootstrap Boys, Thursday, August 1 at the Kentwood City Hall lawn from 7:00-8:30pm. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, the group has been on the road for seven years and counting, bringing their hard-charging sound to honky tonks and bars in every corner of the country. Made up of lead singer and songwriter Jake Bootstrap, guitarists Nick Bootstrap, bassist Jonny Bootstrap, and drummer Jeff Boostrap, the Bootstrap Boys aren’t your average outlaw country band – they marry muscular guitar riffs and raw twang with a defiantly “y’all” alternative outlook.Food trucks include Street Frites, Kool Breeze, Boujee Bowls, and Casa de los Abuelos.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Concertgoers are also welcome to bring their own beer or wine to the show. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place in the parking lot of Kentwood City Hall from 4:30-7:30pm.
There are 10 concerts in the series this year! Check out the full lineup at www.kentwood.us/SummerConcertSeries.
