THE BAND
Katie and the Lost Boys is a vibrant, authentic jazz band celebrating the golden age of traditional 20s and 30s jazz. Led by Katie Cavera (banjo/guitar), a seasoned performer known for her mastery of the four-string banjo and rhythm guitar, the group brings a captivating blend of musical history and infectious energy. Katie's impressive career includes a three year residency at the Opera Comique in Paris, where she performed in the hit musical à la recherché de Josephine (Looking For Josephine), which honored Josephine Baker and New Orleans jazz. Since 2011, she has performed at Disneyland in a variety bands as both a sideman and a leader. She currently performs at Disney California Adventure where she has the distinction of being the first female musician hired to perform with the popular Five and Dime Swing Band.
