The Bookworm Bunch – Storytelling for Kids returns for its second consecutive season, continuing a community-driven effort to nurture a love for reading among children aged 4–7 years. This initiative has already benefitted many young readers by reintroducing books as a source of joy, connection, and imagination in an increasingly screen-driven world. This program is the brainchild and passion of Dr. Vaishnavi, whose mission is to revive the habit of book reading from early childhood and make stories a meaningful part of everyday family life.Highlights & ExperiencesLed by experienced storytellers and child advocates, each session uses expressive narration and age-appropriate stories to support language development, attention, creativity and emotional intelligence. Parents are also guided through scientific, evidence-based parenting insights, helping them understand how reading positively shapes a child’s developing brain and behaviour.Activities & EngagementsChildren engage in interactive storytelling that encourages listening, imagination, and emotional awareness. Parallel parent discussions focus on building reading routines, reducing screen dependence and strengthening parent-child bonding through simple, practical strategies – creating a shared learning experience that benefits the entire family.
